1 1/2 cups of frozen banana in pieces
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1 tablespoon of almond butter or peanut butter.
3/4 cup of almond milk
1 tbs chia seed
2 tbs protein powder (optional)
Add frozen banana, strawberries, almond or peanut butter, chia seeds, and milk to a blender and blend until creamy and smooth. Protein powder is optional.
If the mixture is too thick, add a little more milk. Then taste and adjust the flavor as needed, adding more banana, stevia for sweetness, strawberries, or almond milk for thinning.
Pour some light coconut milk or almond milk into the glasses to serve first and then top with the smoothie for a swirling effect.
Garnish with chia seeds or almond butter and enjoy chilled.
